Serving on a JSA Committee is an excellent way to get involved, to meet people, and to add another line or two to your resume. Committees are also a great way to get to know your way around JSA and to become a leader in Georgetown's Jewish Community. Committee membership and chairmanship lasts one semester, though you may extend your membership for another semester in the same committee or experiment with a new one. All committees are accepting new members now! Shabbat/Holiday Committee This committee will be involved in planning, organizing, and innovating shabbat services. We'll come up with themes for shabbat (i.e. different cultural shabbat cuisine), and help set up for services. We can also plan on putting together havdallah services weekly.
