THE REAL DEAL: 1) Traditional Shabbat
Join the JSA for our normal Shabbat service at the JSA house followed by a traditional dinner and Oneg at the Mortara Center. We'll be able to join each other around the table to experince a more traditional Oneg with special guest Rabbi Shemtov. It will be really lovely and educational. It will be held at the regularly scheduled time for Shabbat at 6:30pm at the JSA House on November 20. However, dinner will be held at the Mortara Center and we will be able to sit down and have a free and tasty dinner!

2) Help for the Homeless Walkathon
Join the JSA & HOPE for the Help the Homeless 5K Walkathon on Saturday, November 21. We are meeting at the front gates at 8:00 am, having breakfast, then heading over to the walk at the National Mall. Please arrive at 8am sharp so we can head over together. Registration will be $15 per person. Please join the JSA and HOPE for this truly great community service event. If you plan on coming with us, please reply if you are attending!

2) Select "Help the Homeless General Fund" on the drop down menu titled "Register to Walk Today..." in the first section. Click Go!
3) Select the "Youth" registration type for $15, and enter in any additional donations or fundraising goals. Click "Next Step"
4)Fill in your contact and additional information. Click "Next Step."
5) Read and agree to terms and conditions. Click "Next Step."
6) And your done!

3) Chutzpah! Rehearsals
All Chutzpah! reahearsals will now be held on Sundays from 8:30pm to 10:00pm at the Reynolds Music Room (Reynolds 141). We've begun practicing Mi'Ymaleil and Zodiac which we will perform on Hannukah. If you are interested in performing with our group and would like more information, please respond to this e-mail.

4) Interfaith Thanksgiving Service
Join the JSA and other faiths on campus this Monday evening for an Interfaith Thanksgiving service on Monday the 23rd. We encourage all to participate so if you would like to share a prayer, song, spoken word or something of the like related to Thanksgiving, please respond to this e-mail to let me know.

5) Krav Maga Classes
The first one is free and it is not too late to start! If you are interested in Krav Maga, head on down to Deep South (next to Riverside Lounge) on Tuesdays at 8:00pm.
