Jason Oliver

Army Values Exemplified: Selfless Service, Duty
Description of why this cadet rocks:c/ c/ Jason Oliver is an MSII in the Hoya Battalion and a member of the Ranger Challenge competition team, an elite honor earned by only 10 cadets each year in a program of more than 100 cadets. His drive and commitment to the Ranger Challenge Team demonstrates his willingness to engage fully in all that the program has to offer and thereby improve his own skills and knowledge. He met for very early practices daily from the beginning of the semester up through mid-October, regularly enduring tough physical and mental challenges. He was the most improved member of the Ranger Challenge Team, and his personal efforts greatly contributed to the Team’s top performance overall among teams spanning the Eastern Region of the United States. He truly exemplifies the qualities embodied by the title "Cadet of the Month." Cadet Oliver is an excellent role model for the rest of the battalion and sets the standard high for others to follow.

John Pruitt

Description of why this cadet rocks:
John Pruitt is another example of a fine role model for the rest of the battalion. As an MSI, Cadet Pruitt had the most improved PT Score in Bravo Company with 49 points in the October APFT. Cadet Pruitt's strong character and dedication to the Hoya Battalion has led him to be an ideal leader within the MSI class. Even with a rigorous class schedule, Cadet Pruitt manages to attend all ROTC events and continues to push himself to do better. He is a great asset to Georgetown ROTC program.
