Physical Training (PT) makes up a large and very important part of cadet life. Cadets must maintain their physical
fitness throughout their ROTC career. PT consists of cardiovascular and muscular strength training.
Depending upon their military science class, cadets are required to attend one class period a week for his military
science class. Freshmen have the option of attending their class on Tuesday or Thursday, sophomores on Wenesday or Thursday, and juniors
and seniors must attend a three hour class on either Thursday or Friday.
* Field Training Exercises (FTXs) are sometimes held on Saturdays or over a weekend throughout the year. An FTX usually encompasses
the entire day and focuses on a particular mission and task for the training of all cadets in the Hoya Battalion.
