Social Action Committee

The Social Action Committee plans community service opportunities for SFS students; most of these volunteer projects have an international focus. Previous events have included trips to a refugee center in D.C., co-sponsoring a Hunger Banquet with Oxfam, organizing an "Awareness Week," and bringing in speakers. There are approximately ten students on this committee, at least one of whom serves as chair. The committee meets weekly.
