Application Forms for Transfer Admission

The Georgetown University Application

Thank you for your interest in Georgetown University. We look forward to reviewing your application for transfer admission. Every fall we enroll a vibrant class of transfer students that contribute to our campus community in essential ways. We evaluate transfer students for fall admission only and do not consider applications on a rolling basis.

Our online application is now available. Before you begin the online application process, we recommend reading the following instructions.

To initiate your application, you must submit the Personal Data Form (Part I) of the application.

IMPORTANT- Please note that before clicking on the Payment button at the end of the Personal Data Form (Part I), you must turn your Pop-up Blocker to OFF. After you have completed your payment, please close the payment browser window, return to the online application, and click SUBMIT, to complete the Personal Data Form (Part I). For more help with the application, please click here.

Once you have submitted the Personal Data Form (Part I) along with your payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your application number. You must have this number in order to access Part II, the remainder of the application, which is due by March 1st. Please click the following link to access Part II of the application.

The deadline to submit the Second Part of the transfer application has been extended until March 15, 2010. Please contact the admissions office if you have any questions.

To complete your transfer application, you must submit official transcripts from all of the colleges/universities you have attended, a Dean’s Report, Professor’s Report and the transfer Secondary School Report. Your application cannot be considered unless these documents are submitted by March 1.
