Group Information Sessions
Information Sessions are held regularly throughout the year on weekdays and Saturday mornings.
They are led by members of the admissions staff and last approximately 35 minutes.
Sessions provide ample time for you to learn about the admissions process in detail. (Reservations are required, please see below.)
Campus Tours
|
Tours are offered immediately after every information session.
They are led by Georgetown students.
Plan on approximately two hours for both the information session and campus tour.

Reservations
Space for the information session is limited and thus we require reservations.
Since each information session is directly followed by a campus tour, tours do NOT require separate reservations.
Your reservation will cover both events.
In an effort to maintain a quality experience for our visitors, we suggest calling at least two weeks prior to your visit to make your reservation.
Please click here to see our current schedule.
Then, please call the Admissions Office at (202) 687-3600 to verify dates and times and make your reservation.
While we do not make any personal appointments with students, there
is usually an Admissions Officer "on duty" who will be able to answer
specific questions you might have that were not answered in your
Information Session. Please note that there is no Officer on duty from
9:30-11:00 AM on Tuesdays as this is weekly staff meeting.
Please find information about directions to campus and our office under Related Links on the right.
If you are representing a school or organization and would like to bring a group of students to visit Georgetown, please first read our guidelines on special groups:
- Age: All student participants must be at least juniors in high school, we do not have any formal programming for middle school and elementary school students.
We encourage student groups younger than high school juniors to visit our campus at their convenience and take our self-guided tour and consider making arrangements to dine on campus.
Campus dining is available at (202)687-5379.
- Size: The maximum size we are able to accommodate is 55 students.
- Time: Special group programming is only available Monday through Friday, we do not offer information sessions and tours on the weekend.
The available times for special group programming is limited, so please make your request as early as possible to ensure we have availability.
If you are planning a special group visit during March, April, July, or August, please note that special group programming is very limited.
To make a special group request, please complete and fax the Special Group Request Form to our office at (202)687-5084.
All requests must be made in writing at least six weeks prior to the expected visit date.
Thank you for your interest in bringing a special group to campus.
We are excited about the possibility of hosting your group and sincerely hope to arrange a meaningful visit for your students.
